When should I visit?
Winter conditions make the roads slow and the days short, so more time is needed to enjoy the different sights the island has to offer. Don´t worry, you´ll be rewarded by the dancing lights of the aurora borealis northern lights.
Summer makes for sunnier days and milder weather (for icelandic people, less rainy and windy for people who live far from the poles). The days can last up to 21 hours, and more areas of the island are accessible.
How much time do I need?
We definitely recommend anywhere between 5 and 15 days, depending on how extensive you want to make your visit to this country full of ice (sometimes).
